Google Maps key / billing Markers are correct; if tiles show gray, billing isn't enabled on the Google Cloud project yet (the free-tier credit covers this usage — an account just needs to be attached). The table below works regardless.

Reading the overlays Pair them with the lenses: overlay % age 65+ or diabetes to site chronic-care & cardiometabolic clinics where the burden is; overlay % Medicaid vs % private to read payer mix by ZIP; overlay population density to size catchments. In the data, north Redlands (92374) skews younger, more Hispanic, higher-Medicaid; south Redlands (92373) is older & affluent; Loma Linda (92354) carries the area's highest diabetes prevalence. 1Why these locations for our clinics & OP surgery

Site selection is driven by three forces in the data: the shift to outpatient, where the capturable lives are, and where incumbents are weak.

The outpatient shift RCH's own data shows inpatient discharges down ~31% while ED visits rose ~44%. Care is moving out of the hospital — so ambulatory clinics + an OP surgery center are where volume and margin are heading. Own that, not more beds.
Follow the capturable lives Place clinics where the ~22k non-Kaiser, self-funded/PPO lives live and work — and in the fast-growing Yucaipa/Calimesa and Pass corridors before competitors do.
Avoid Kaiser-locked zones Don't plant where Kaiser already owns the members; plant where open-network and under-served populations are.
Complement, don't cannibalize Position satellites to extend reach (north Redlands/Mentone, Yucaipa, the Pass) rather than overlap the Terracina campus.
